The Mindtrek International Conference is a technology centered conference organized from Tampere, Finland. It has several sessions, the next one will be on September 8th in online format, and will feature the contribution President of the Board of ESOP, Gerardo Lisboa.

The conference seeks to promote the exchanging of ideas, networking between people from different backgrounds and with different areas of expertise. It encourages dialogue between various fields of technologies. In this sense, every year there is a different theme, but always related to open source, open data, smart city, immersive technology, eHealth, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, among others. The next session on September 8th will have the theme 'Mindtrek goes Openmind: Creating Solutions with Open Source'. The President of the Board of ESOP will present the Portuguese panorama in Open Source matters.
