The advantages of Open Source are attracting more supporters, including former opponents such as Microsoft.
After criticize Open Source solutions, the American giant of proprietary solutions has been changing its strategy and adopting some Open Source solutions.
On May 14th, Microsoft President Brad Smith admitted that "Microsoft was on the wrong side of history when open source exploded at the beginning of the century, and can say that about me", in a webinar.
Currently, Microsoft already has several Open Source solutions such as open source PowerShelll, Visual Studio Code or the original Microsoft Edge JavaScript engine.
So what once was an enemy of Open Source, is now a defender and implementer of its four fundamental freedoms, at least in part of its products.
