Deep dive GXFS Work Package “Compliance”

The “Deep dive Work Package Compliance” will take place virtually on May 5, from 15:00-16:30. Participants will benefit from an in-depth introduction to the Work Package Compliance and the relevant GXFS components currently being developed by external implementation partners. The event is aimed at technology experts (software architects, data scientists, programmers, etc.) from the German Gaia-X projects. The event will be held in German. OSI Forum 2022

“OSI Forum 2022” will take place on May, 04 – 05, Munich. Participants will benefit from an in-depth introduction to the Data protection and data security as they are increasingly becoming the focus of discussions. With KritisV, there are already specifications and with Gaia-X a project to build a powerful and competitive, secure and trustworthy data infrastructure for Europe is planned. What do these catalogues of criteria and initiatives mean specifically for our data centre landscapes? On the second day of the event Andreas Weiss, ECO | Matthias Reidans, Rosenberger OSI at 11.45 – 12.30; will give a presentation of Gaia-X as a trust space for data processing according to EU standards.The event will be held in German.

Smart Mobility and Smart Cities: Third After-Work-Session at Forum Digital Technologies

The third and last After-Work-Session hosted in collaboration with the Forum Digital Technologies will take place on 3 May, 6 to 8 pm (CEST). While we finish the agenda, we can already disclosure that we will have guest presentations from a funded project, one guest organisation and, of course, will explain the FIWARE Smart City framework using the Smart World by FIWARE.

The French-Bavarian AI Challenge

The first ever French - Bavarian challenge in AI recently opened - for any student or young researcher interested in data science.

The winning team will receive up to 95.000 € funding for creating their start-up!

For this, candidates just need to register and successfully answer one of the challenges - around the overarching theme of AI for a better world - proposed by our French and German partners:

  • a challenge based on data from E.ON related to energy provision
  • a challenges based on data from Trading Hub Europe related to energy prices
  • a challenge based on data from Deutsche Bahn Regio related to the optimisation of bus mobility
  • a challenge based on data from Centre Borelli related to the estimation of the "physical frailness" of elderly people
  • a challenge based on data from CEA related to the detection of natural disasters
